Satish Golcha has replaced senior IPS officer Shashi Bhushan Kumar Singh as Delhi Police Commissioner. His appointment comes a day after the attack on Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during a Jan Sunwai at her Civil Lines Camp Office. A 1992-batch IPS officer from the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories) cadre, Golcha is currently serving as the city’s Director General of Prisons
