West Bengal government has presented its 2026–27 state budget with a total allocation of ₹4,38,775.29 crore, focusing on infrastructure, health, agriculture and industry. The budget announced 1 lakh government jobs and a Dearness Allowance hike to 38 per cent. Plans also include new industrial corridors, district creation and healthcare expansion under public-private partnership models.
