Unprecedented floods and landslides: SC's big concern on timber logs washed down the hills by flood waters

In a notice issued to the Centre over floods and landslides in various states, the Supreme Court asked the Solicitor General of India to respond and list remedial measures to tackle these disasters in the future. The court will now hear the petition in two weeks' time.
