The International Olympic Committee has introduced a new policy. Transgender women athletes will now be excluded from Olympic Games. This decision aligns with a one-time SRY gene screening. The policy aims to protect fairness and integrity in female category sports. It will be effective from the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The IOC also restricts athletes with differences in sex development.
