T.N. Science Forum demands restoration of Karisal lake at Sivarakottai in Madurai district

Members of Tamil Nadu Science Forum submitted a representation to District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar here on Monday urging the district administration to restore Karisal lake at Sivarakottai village to its original form. R. Rajamanickam of the forum, said Karisal lake, which had an extent of 133.32 hectares, benefits about 465 acres of land in Kallikudi taluk.
