Thailand likely to hold general election on March 29

Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is expected to call a general election on March 29 after talks with the Election Commission. The vote, which may coincide with referendums on a new constitution and border agreements with Cambodia, will be the first major test of Anutin’s leadership since taking office in September.
