Construction Of a world-class international cricket stadium in Coimbatore is set to begin soon, marking a major milestone for Tamil Nadu’s sports infrastructure. Spread across 30 acres and estimated at ₹500 crore, the project will blend modern amenities with sustainable design. The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) has floated tenders inviting eligible bidders. The stadium is expected to host national and international matches in the coming years. With this development, Coimbatore will join cities like Chennai in housing major cricket venues. The initiative reflects the state’s commitment to promoting sports and recreation.
