Tamil Nadu is set to recruit over 2,700 permanent assistant professors for government arts and science colleges, addressing long-standing faculty shortages. The TRB will conduct a transparent, merit-based selection process, including exams and interviews. This large-scale drive aims to improve student–teacher ratios and strengthen higher education across the state.
