An inspirational and value-oriented session on “Nation Building and Social Responsibility” was organised at Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeonwala. Through insightful interactions and motivating addresses, the programme highlighted that true nation building begins with individuals’ character, self-discipline, clarity of goals and a sincere sense of duty towards society and the country. Maj Gen (Dr) Manoj Kumar emphasised that nation-building begins with self-discipline, strong moral character and unwavering focus on one’s goals. He encouraged the students to remain firmly grounded, set clear targets and pursue continuous self-improvement. Highlighting the values of dedication, perseverance and duty, he inspired students to contribute positively towards building a responsible and resilient nation. Brigadier Vikas Puri shared valuable insights from his professional journey, stressing the significance of leadership, teamwork and effective time management. He motivated the students to develop practical skills alongside academic learning and embrace the principle of “learning while earning”. Colonel Santosh Kumar spoke eloquently about integrity, commitment and service to the nation. Concluding the programme, the school’s Principal and Director Dr SS Brar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the guests for sharing their invaluable experiences and guiding students with inspiring thoughts.
