To maintain the integrity of its facilities, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has introduced increased tariffs and strict penalties for organisers who don't return venues in good condition after non-sport events. New tariffs have significantly raised the cost of hiring these venues for concerts and other non-sports gatherings.
