The Maharashtra Cabinet led by Devendra Fadnavis approved the ₹12,303 crore MAGESTIC project to raise renewable energy share to 50% by 2030 with grid upgrades and battery storage. It also cleared a Dr B. R. Ambedkar academic chair at London School of Economics and Political Science and a Green Maharashtra Commission to plant 300 crore trees by 2047.
