Police return 274 lost cellphones worth over Rs 41 lakh to owners

The Amritsar Police Commissionerate has recovered a total of 974 lost mobile phones worth around Rs 1.67 crore over the past year and returned them to their rightful owners in four phases, highlighting the growing role of technology and the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) in tracing missing devices.
