PM's three-hour Manipur visit an insult to people, says Jairam Ramesh

Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, has criticised Prime Minister Modi's planned three-hour visit to Manipur on September 13, deeming it an insult to the state's people after a 29-month wait. Ramesh also questioned the GST Council's role, suggesting it's becoming a formality after the Prime Minister preemptively announced tax measures during his Independence Day speech.
