18-year-old Payal Nag, a quadruple amputee archer, defeated her decorated teammate, Sheetal Devi, in the final of the World Archery Para Series in Bangkok. This was Payal’s first win over Sheetal in an international tournament. India won seven gold medals in total, with Sheetal topping the qualification round.
