Panvel Municipal Corporation To Set Up Modern Animal Crematorium At Kharghar For Dignified Disposal

Panvel Municipal Corporation will establish a modern animal crematorium at Kharghar to enable scientific disposal of stray, pet and large animals. The facility on a 402.88 sq m plot will use pollution-control technology and include separate cremation units. PMC said the project aims to improve sanitation, reduce health risks and provide dignified animal last rites.
