OpenAI executive Fidji Simo said on Thursday she will step down from her full-time role as CEO of AGI deployment and move to a part-time advisory position. The San Francisco-based company said the change follows her extended medical leave for a neuroimmune condition, as OpenAI prepares for an IPO and expands its AI push.
