Samvardhana Motherson International's subsidiary SMR Automotive (Langfang) has acquired a 64.76% stake in Shenzhen Autocruis Technology for CNY 153.3 million (USD 22.6 million/Rs 207 cr), with the stake set to increase to 67.78% following a planned equity buy-back. The target company specializes in automotive vision systems including CMS, FDM, DMS, and DVR products, with turnover growing from CNY 25.5 million in FY 2023 to CNY 46.0 million in FY 2025. The transaction, approved on June 17, 2026, is anticipated to be finalized by Q3 FY 2027.
