Maharashtra Health Department Investigates Potential Avian Flu in Poultry Workers

The Maharashtra health department is submitting eight samples from poultry workers in Nandurbar to the National Institute of Virology to check for human avian flu. The samples, including nasal swabs, are precautionary as the workers have shown no symptoms. Tamiflu tablets are being administered as a safeguard.
