Maharashtra Govt Urged To Fund ₹10 Crore For Under-19 And Under-23 Asian Rowing Championships In Pimpri-Chinchwad

Following India’s gold medal at the Rowing World Cup III in Lucerne, Maharashtra has proposed hosting the Under-19 and Under-23 Asian Rowing Championships in Pimpri-Chinchwad. A delegation sought ₹10 crore for infrastructure and logistics. Officials also felicitated rowers Laksh and Ujjwal Kumar Singh, who won gold in lightweight double sculls and trained at the Army Rowing Node.
