The Maharashtra government has directed departments to expedite the Rs 92-crore Munawale Aqua Tourism Project in Satara, aimed at developing the Koyna Reservoir into a major water tourism hub with boating, water sports and tourist facilities. The government also reviewed plans for a Veer Jivaji Mahale memorial at Pratapgad Fort.
