The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded key positions in the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation ahead of the civic body’s first general meeting scheduled for March 16. Currently part of the ruling alliance with Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, the BJP holds the Deputy Mayor’s post but is now pushing for the Standing Committee Chairman and Leader of the House positions.
