Jan Vishwas Bill 2.0 To Be Tabled In Lok Sabha Today

The government will introduce the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2025 in the Lok Sabha today, as part of its push to further ease of doing business and ease of living. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will move the Bill, which seeks to amend several enactments to decriminalise and rationalise offences, thereby strengthening trust-based governance. This marks the second major round of reforms under the Jan Vishwas framework after the first law was enacted in 2023.
