Jaishankar Takes Aim at 'Entrenched Powers', Rejects Zero

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar delivered a pointed message to the world's established powers at the Jeju Forum in South Korea, warning against turning the global economy into a zero-sum contest. Without naming any country, Jaishankar said some entrenched powers are struggling to accept the loss of competitiveness and are challenging the principles of cooperation. Invoking India's philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, he called for a fair, multipolar world order where emerging economies have a greater voice in shaping global decisions.
