Jairam moves SC over retrospective green clearances

Congress Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh on Friday said he had filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the practice of granting ex post facto environmental clearances, calling them illegal, harmful to public health and a serious blow to governance.
