Indias domestic aviation sector maintained steady growth in 2025, though passenger traffic saw a marginal month-on-month decline in August, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Airlines carried 1107.26 lakh passengers between January and August 2025, marking a 4.99% year-on-year rise from the same period in 2024.
