Terror financing has gone digital. Jaish-e-Mohammad, the Pakistan-based terror group led by Masood Azhar, is now using mobile wallets like Easypaisa and SadaPay to move money outside the banking system. Reports reveal that dozens of e-wallets are linked to the group, many directly tied to Azhar’s family. These wallets are constantly replaced, making them hard to trace. At least 30 new ones are activated every month, and funds are split into smaller amounts to avoid detection. The group has drawn up a 3.9-billion Pakistani rupee plan to build 313 mini-camps, but much of the money is suspected to be diverted to weapons and operations against India.
