Indian Navy commissions indigenous anti-submarine warfare vessel INS Mahe, Army Chief wishes safe voyages, successful missions

The Indian Navy has commissioned INS Mahe, the first of eight Mahe-class anti-submarine warfare shallow water craft. Built by Cochin Shipyard Limited, the vessel is designed for hunting submarines, coastal patrols, and securing maritime approaches. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi attended the commissioning ceremony, wishing the warship success.
