India signs first long-term US LPG import deal to boost energy security

India has secured a significant energy deal with the United States. Indian public sector oil companies have signed a one-year contract to import Liquefied Petroleum Gas. This marks a historic first for the nation's LPG market. The agreement will bring approximately 2.2 million tonnes of LPG annually.
