RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, during a visit to Assam for the organisations centenary events, said anyone who takes pride in Bharat and loves the nation is a Hindu, regardless of their mode of worship. He described “Hindu” as a civilizational identity and said India does not need an official declaration to be a Hindu Rashtra, as its cultural ethos already reflects it.
