HC sets April 13 deadline for naming Telangana DGP

Telangana High Court has set an April 13 deadline for the state government to appoint a full-time Director General of Police. The state has been without a full-time DGP since 2017. The UPSC has submitted a panel of three IPS officers for selection. The court expects the state to inform it of its decision on April 13.
