GST 2.0: Individual Health Insurance Premiums To Be GST-Free From Tomorrow

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a major reform under GST 2.0 at the 56th GST Council meeting on September 3. Effective September 22, individual health insurance premiums will be completely exempt from GST.
