They can stop people from seeking medical advice when symptoms appear or leave families feeling hopeless after a diagnosis.According to Prof Dr Satish Rudrappa, Group Director – Aster International Institute of Neurosciences and Spine Care, misinformation often causes more damage than the disease itself.
