The school organised an international educational tour to the US, offering students an extraordinary opportunity to combine academic learning with global exposure. The tour was designed with the objective of broadening students’ horizons, strengthening conceptual understanding through real-world experiences, and nurturing curiosity, confidence, and global citizenship among learners. The educational journey was conducted under the guidance of Principal Komal Sharma ensuring safety, discipline, and meaningful learning throughout the tour. The highlight of the tour was the visit to NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre, which proved to be an inspiring and knowledge-rich experience for students. At NASA, students explored iconic attractions such as the Rocket Garden, Space Shuttle Atlantis, Astronaut Training Simulators, Mars Exploration Zone, and interactive science exhibits. The visit ignited a deep interest in space science, physics, engineering, and innovation, motivating students to aspire for careers in STEM fields. In New York City, students and the Principal visited the world-famous Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and democracy, where students learned about its historical significance. The group also explored central park, experiencing environmental balance in one of the world’s busiest cities. The visit to the Empire State Building offered students breath-taking views of New York’s skyline while helping them understand architectural excellence and engineering marvels. At Madame Tussauds, students interacted with lifelike wax statues of global leaders, scientists, artists, and sports icons, making learning engaging and memorable. The group also visited important centres of governance, including White House and the Parliament House providing students with valuable exposure to democratic institutions, global leadership, and administrative systems. The tour included visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World, Cocoa Beach, visits to Seaworld Orlando, Universal Island of Adventure Orlando. The breath-taking experience of Niagara Falls left students awestruck as they observed the power of beauty of nature while learning about geography, hydropower and environmental conservation. Throughout the tour, the Principal of the school played an active role in guiding and motivating students, emphasising discipline, curiosity, and learning beyond textbooks. The Principal highlighted that such international educational tours are essential for developing global awareness, leadership skills, and a future-ready mind set among students. Speaking on the occasion, Director Seema Handa emphasised the vision of the school towards global exposure and experiential learning.
