DRDO ready for Agni 6, awaits Centre's nod

India's Defence Research and Development Organisation is ready to develop the Agni-VI ballistic missile pending government approval. The nation is also making significant progress on its hypersonic glide and cruise missile systems. Initial trials for the hypersonic glide missile are expected soon. India is also planning a multi-layered conventional missile force for various tactical applications.
