Published on: Oct. 30, 2025, 1:55 p.m. | Source: NewsX

If you don’t have a Voter ID card, you can still cast your vote using other government-approved identification documents. The Election Commission of India (ECI) allows several alternatives, including Aadhaar card, passport, driving licence, PAN card, MNREGA job card, and smart card issued by the Registrar General of India. Voters can also use official service identity cards issued to employees of central or state governments. However, your name must be present on the voter list to be eligible. Always carry one of these valid IDs to ensure a smooth voting experience on election day.
