The Geographical Indication (GI) tag sought of nannari, a medicinal plant widely being cultivated in the Western Ghats areas of Kanniyakumari district, will give a distinct identity to its root, which has long been used to produce various by-products, says V. Raghu, one of the applicants. Recently, Mr. Raghu from Modhiramalai, S.
