China Executes Former Huarong Executive for Massive Bribery Scandal

Bai Tianhui, former general manager of China Huarong International Holdings, was executed for bribery in Tianjin, according to Xinhua. Bai's sentence followed a Supreme People's Court approval, with bribes totaling over 1.108 billion yuan. The court deemed the crime extremely severe, warranting the harsh punishment.
