Centre sets up three-member panel to probe student suicides at IIT-Kanpur

The government has formed a three-member committee to investigate student suicides at IIT-Kanpur. This panel will recommend measures to prevent such tragedies and improve mental health support. The committee, led by Anil Sahastrabuddhe, includes psychiatrist Jitendra Nagpal and a joint secretary. They are tasked with submitting their report within 15 days.
