A 100-jumps-a-day-for-100-days challenge can improve fitness by boosting stamina, lower-body strength, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular health if done gradually and with proper form. Regular jumping may also support bone density and joint stability by strengthening surrounding muscles. However, doing it daily without adequate technique or recovery can increase the risk of knee, ankle, shin, tendon, or lower-back injuries, especially in people with existing joint issues, osteoporosis, or previous injuries. Experts recommend starting slowly, wearing supportive footwear, landing softly, prioritising recovery, and stopping if pain develops, as consistency and safe execution matter more than hitting a fixed number of jumps.
