Former Indian cricketer and West Bengal Minister Manoj Tiwary announced he is boycotting the Asia Cup 2025, expressing his unwillingness to watch the tournament, especially India’s match against Pakistan. He said “ I am boycotting the Asia Cup. I would not like to watch it... It is beyond my understanding how someone can enjoy sports in this context. After an incident like Pahalgam happened... Obviously, the BCCI should consider this. Sportsman spirit is on one side, and what is right is on the other side.... When we know that the terrorists are coming from Pakistan and their government makes no effort to put an end to this..."
