Bihar Assembly elections: Rs 14,000 from World Bank was diverted for polls, alleges Jan Suraaj's Pavan Varma

Jan Suraaj spokesperson Pavan Verma made serious allegations regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. He claimed funds from the World Bank were diverted for the polls and distributed to women voters. The Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana transferred Rs 10,000 to 1.25 crore women. Verma questioned the ethics of such actions, especially with upcoming polls in other states.
