The Union Cabinet has approved relief for Vodafone Idea by freezing its AGR dues at Rs 87,695 crore. Payments will be spread over 10 years starting FY32. The move eases pressure on the debt-hit telecom firm, which continues to struggle with heavy liabilities and funding challenges.
