India and Australia have launched a Sports Collaboration Roadmap, strengthening their partnership. The Big Bash Cricket League's opening match will be held in Chennai, India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi affirmed that both nations will play and win together. India is also preparing to host the Commonwealth Games in 2030. Furthermore, the country is actively pursuing its bid to host the Olympic Games in 2036.
