The first general body meeting of the Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation scheduled for March 9 in Bhiwandi has been postponed indefinitely. The meeting was expected to take key decisions, including electing members of the Standing Committee. Sources said the delay is linked to unresolved differences within the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) over the chairperson’s post.
