Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace (FWDA) has rolled out Kaala Bhairav, Indias first fully indigenous AI-powered Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) combat aircraft. The Bengaluru firm has already secured a $25 million export order from a South Asian nation, part of a $30 million deal. With 30-hour endurance, 3000 km range and swarm strike capability, the drone is built at one-tenth the cost of U.S. Predator systems. Developed under Atmanirbhar Bharat, Kaala Bhairav reduces foreign dependence and positions India as a defence exporter.
