Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru join global effort to protect residents from extreme heat

Three Indian cities, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, have joined a global coalition of 33 metropolises under the Cool Cities Accelerator to combat extreme heat. This initiative, supported by The Rockefeller Foundation and C40 Cities, aims to implement science-based solutions by 2030 to protect residents from rising temperatures and make urban spaces more heat-resilient.
