Ahmedabad: 50 Fall Sick After Sewage Water Enters Drinking Supply In Ghatlodia

Fifty residents in Ahmedabad’s Ghatlodia area fell ill with diarrhoea and vomiting after contaminated drainage water entered drinking supply, officials said. Eleven were hospitalised. Locals claimed hundreds were affected, but AMC reported 50 cases. Health teams were deployed and pipelines repaired; authorities said all patients are stable.
