Ahead of Feb 10 meet, Sikh panel demands change in quorum norm

Ahead of the crucial General House meeting of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) scheduled for February 10, HSGMC president Jagdish Singh Jhinda has sought an amendment to the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Act to do away with the requirement of a two-thirds majority for completing the quorum in committee meetings.
