15+ MFs add these 10 stocks in August '25; 4 stocks rally over 50% in FY26

In August 2025, mutual funds (MFs) maintained strong confidence in Indian equities, with net investments totaling about Rs 70,534 crore for the month. According to an analysis by ETMarkets, 13 stocks were added to the portfolios of at least 15 mutual fund schemes during the month of August —an increase from July 2025. Of these 13 stocks, 10 have delivered positive returns so far in FY26, with 4 of them surging over 50%.However, not all bets have paid off. Three stocks namely Clean Science and Technology, Infosys, and Sona BLW Precision Forgings — despite being popular among fund houses, have struggled to find their footing this fiscal, posting negative returns so far.
